Mr. Hines founded LR Hines Consulting in 1996 in order to expand and offer his broad experience and knowledge of document management, records management and computer business systems to the marketplace. He attended Sacramento State University and took evening classes in Computer Science while in the Air Force. After nearly six years in the USAF, Mr. Hines's interest in sales and energy conservation and alternative energy technologies led him to start an energy conservation company based in Grass Valley, CA. He co-developed an electronic fuel savings device for conventional gas fired furnaces that achieved up to 30% energy savings on older inefficient furnaces. He also wrote software for analyzing building energy loss to help determine return on investment for energy savings technologies.
Before founding LR Hines Consulting, Inc., Mr. Hines was Director of Information Services for a large private corporation that grew from $35 Million to over $100 Million in gross revenue without adding additional staff by using a variety of custom office automation software and implementing new business systems either developed or implemented by Mr. Hines during his tenure there.
After founding LR Hines Consulting, Inc., Mr. Hines obtained his first major multi-year consulting contract with his previous employer to provide Information Technology management services and ongoing systems administration and support. His first Governent client contract was for IT support services with the City of Lincoln, CA, at the time it was the fastest growing City in California. The City was overflowing with paper and desperately needed a document management system to help them eliminate paper and better manage their important documents. After recommending and helping implement an EDMS for the City and seeing the benefits of the technology first hand, Mr. Hines decided to change his focus away from general IT support and bring his passion for office automation and business process improvement to the Electronic Document and Content Management market.
During the last few years LR Hines has continued to be successful and has experienced steady growth even in the current tough business climate. LR Hines continues to win new clients, including multiple departments in Placer County, most recently being awarded a contract to install SIRE EDMS for the Placer Sheriff's Department.
Mr. Hines is a dynamic public speaker and is available for speaking engagements to talk about how technology can truly deliver the promise of doing more with less. His extensive experience provides a rich resource of topics from sucessful projects that have revolutionized how his clients do business more efficiently and allowed them to continue to meet and exceed required service levels with reduced staffing levels and extreme budget cuts.
Mrs. Hines has over twenty years administrative project management experience. Her background includes over 20 years in construction contract and project management, accounting & payroll and graphics arts design. She currently is in charge of Administration including HR, Accounting and Payroll for LR Hines.
Jon oversees the LR Hines Scanning Division. He has been with our company since 2007. Jon has over 15 years of management experience and has extensive experience working with a variety of computer scanning systems. Currently he manages all aspects of our scanning operations from general Administration and responding to Customer inquiries and RFP’s to training our scanning technicians and supporting all our scanning hardware to ensure LR Hines maintains the highest level of quality for our customersGregg Skinner - Software Engineer and Database Developer
Mr. Skinner has developed many of the custom software applications that integrate with LR Hines' product offerings. Gregg has been a key player in delivering powerful tools that help organizations move to a paperless environment. His contributions include the ever expanding PowerTools Suite of utilities for SIRE. Previously, Mr. Skinner worked at Pepsi Cola for 14 years in various technology positions primarily focusing on software development. Mr. Skinner has a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Information Systems Management from the University of San Francisco.
Mr. Breiner has over 15 years of experience in combined customer service and document management technologies. He is currently responsible for SIRE EDMS implementations including advanced Workflows and eForms for Agenda Automation and other advanced business process improvements. He is also an excellent communicator and trainer. Mr. Breiner holds an Associate of Applied Sciences in Computer Information Technology and is currently working towards his Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
Mr. Peden has over 15 years of technical support and network administration experience. He holds multiple technical certifications including Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Microsoft Certified Database Administrator, Certified Document Imaging Architect, and Cisco Certified Network Associate. He has over eight years experience supporting and installing SIRE EDMS, ViewWise EDMS, Kofax, Microsoft SQL, and other Microsoft Server and Desktop Applications in a wide variety of complex network environments. Damon is highly regarded by our clients for his commitment to outstanding customer service and support.
Mr. Schoof joined LR Hines in April of 2010 to apply his experience in complex government sales towards LR Hines Business Development and Key Account expansion. Mr. Schoof has a successful career in solution oriented software sales to local, state and federal government accounts as well as large private sector accounts including PG&E, LA Dept of Water & Power, CA Dept of Water Resources, Hawaiian Electric and many others. He has a BS in Electrical Engineering from Cal Poly Pomona.
