Our April 29, 2009 SIRE Northern California User Group was presented by LR Hines Consulting, Inc. and hosted by Sacramento County in the Sacramento Board of Supervisors Chambers downtown. A BIG Thank You goes out to Anthony Wong and Cyndi Lee for their graciousness and providing top notch facilities. There were over 50 attendees including SIRE Users and folks who were just curious and wanted to learn more about SIRE.
The President of SIRE Technologies, Kris Painter came out from Salt Lake City, Utah to present the newest version of SIRE's Agenda Plus, Video Plus and their newest addition, SIRE Voting Plus - Total Meeting Management solutions. Other highlights of the meeting were the breakout sessions in the afternoon on SIRE Workflow and Forms and Electronic Signatures. Also, one of the sessions was for Public Safety. The City of Citrus Heights Police Department gave a presentation on how they are leveraging SIRE Document Management with their Spillman CAD/RMS system to enable paperless storage and distribution of police reports and case files. Their officers in the field can even pull up copies of police reports from SIRE while in their squad cars with a single click because SIRE is fully integrated with their CAD/RMS system.
Greg Spadorcio, the newest addition to the team at LR Hines Consulting, has over 20 years experience providing solutions to Public Safety Agencies across the Country. Greg did a presentation on leveraging SIRE's Powerful Forms and Workflow tools to enable better communication and eliminate paper requirements as much as possible.
There were great door prizes too, including an iPod Touch and a Garmin GPS unit to go along with an excellent catered lunch and some of the best cookies in town!
